Dan is a guy who knows his stuff. He is very knowledgeable about the waterways and where the fish are biting. We have always had a great experience with him on the water. We had a great time. We went out due to my brother getting Married, and Capt Dan really put us on the fish.

Captain Dan was a great charter captain. Great guy to talk to and learn from, he put me and my friends on some fast action and big fish. Would absolutely go out with him again. His boat is also very comfortable to fish out of.

Our family (kids 4, 7, 10) had a wonderful time on Danny's boat! He catered the trip to what we were interested in - he took the kids to a great fishing spot and helped them fish and then he took us to a great island and we had time to explore and walk around. He is safety-minded and fun! The kids and adults had a blast!

I didn't know what to expect because I'm an offshore saltwater angler in time passed. This was a wonderful time. Captain Danny landed us in the most beautiful places and I was amazed how easy and fun it was. I just showed up and started catching fish! I had to take a few breaks just to soak in the sun and beautiful views. I'm definitely going back! Captain Danny was very professional and showed me what to do and I just kept catching! We saw a bald Eagle and a pelican making a nest. It was a therapeutic morning for sure and I'll be back soon!

On the spur of the moment I decided I wanted to try my hand at catching some Red Fish, On recommendation I called Captain Dan (Danny Neese).He was great, he worked with my schedule and gave me a day I will never forget!!! He even brought me a extra coat(Thank Goodness).

My 7 year old daughter and I had a great experience fishing and beach combing thanks to Captain Daniel Neese. He met us closer to our vacation rental on Seabrook island and we spent several hours pulling in dozens of seatrout. In addition to having nice equipment and the knowledge to pick the right spots, he is very personable and friendly. I hope to get back to Charleston and fish with Capt. Neese next year!

We had THE BEST TIME with Danny, AKA Captain Dan. He knows some great spots for fishing and makes it fun. Having never been inshore fishing before, he taught us a lot and was very patient. Danny is the best host/guide you can find! We had an awesome time. You will not have a better time than fishing with Danny! He even stayed over the allotted time by an hour and a half! We will definitely use Knot stressed again!

Captain Daniel is pretty much the nicest person you'd ever want to meet! He took care to make sure everyone had a great time. With an age range of 30 years, he took care to make sure there was something for everyone to enjoy - and bonus: we caught our own dinner and Capt. Daniel did the filleting himself for us!

Capt. danny made our 4th of july, 2012 vacation. my 3 teenagers had never fished nor been on a power boat. They loved it and caught fish to boot. tonight, we'll take our catch (which danny skillfully filleted) and cook our meal. True family memory. Thanks Danny.

Danny was the nicest guy you could ask for. He was very reasonable in prices, showed you a great time, and was very patient. We were first time visitors and never fished before, and he took his time to show us how to throw the line and how to hook the fish. We caught red fish, blue fish, flounder, and a few others. Had a great time not only fishing, but also riding along on the boat. We will definitely be booking with him on future trips and highly recommend his services. A little bit of advice is to contact him directly, and try to avoid the marina, because it will save you some money and he will have better advice and times for a fishing trip.

Wanted to spend some quality time with my Dad this summer and came across Knot Stressed Charters with Capt. Danny, and good thing we did. My Dad isn't the most advanced fisherman but Capt Danny fished to our strengths and we tore it up. We caught everything....flounder, black drum, trout and some massive RED FISH!! Capt Danny isn't only GREAT at what he does but is a very personable and fun person. From the minute we stepped on the boat we felt like we have known forever.

If you want to experience Charleston like only a few people can.. get on Capt Danny's boat and catch some big REDS.

Capt Dan's life is fishing! He is a local that lives and dies to fish the waters around Charleston. His passion came through as he moved 2 times on a slow morning just to get us on fish. We didn't catch the biggest, but we caught more Redfish than I ever imagined - 20 plus btwn 2 people. I'll be back.
